Tough choice, America?:

I admit this video is unfairly edited, but I can’t say that I disagree with the editor’s apparent opinion.

Rick Richman:

His campaign’s myth is that he will bring us all together — those who damn America and those who bless it. It’s his shtick and he’s sticking to it.

McCain signals vigorous support for Israel

…. During his trip he conveyed strong support for Israel, a country he has visited several times in the past.

In an interview with the Jerusalem Post published on Wednesday, he said Hamas, the Islamist movement that runs the Gaza Strip, and Lebanon’s Hezbollah, both threaten the interests of the United States and the West in general.

‘If Hamas/Hezbollah succeed here, they are going to succeed everywhere.

‘They are dedicated to the extinction of everything that the US, Israel and the West believe and stand for,’ McCain said.

‘So America does have an interest in what happens here, far above and beyond our alliance with the state of Israel,’ the presumptive Republican presidential nominee added.

Asked about almost daily rocket attacks launched from the Gaza Strip, McCain said that if the United States found itself in a similar situation, ‘the American people would probably demand pretty vigorous actions in response.’
