This news made my night. Following Rice’s peace plan would be suicide for Israel. I am happy Barak decided it is more important to protect the lives of the jews then listen to Rice. Bush should fire her. She has gone native at the state department and absorbed their hate for Israel. She is supposed to serve the presidents interests in the state department. DEBKAfile’s Washington and Israeli sources report that Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and the three US generals, who act as US envoys for the Israel-Palestinian peace track have accused Israel’s defense minister Ehud Barak of sabotaging Rice’s Middle East policy objectives. This accusation was first raised by Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas. Barak denies the charges.
