Pres Obama: Islam Dancing in Streets

Pres Obama: Islam Dancing in Streets: "

Pres Obama: Islam Dancing in Streets:UPDATE: OBAMA WINS WYOMING.It is an enormous relief that someone is finally stating the obvious. Iowa Representative Steve King said earlier today that  ‘al-Qaida, and the radical Islamists and their supporters, will be dancing in the streets in greater numbers than they did on September 11′.Yes, of course. It is so and the Arab Muslim world has said it. But we are not allowed to say it.We are not allowed to speak of it while engaged in a war for our very lives. It’s time the American people get an education on Islam not given by unindicted co-conspirator CAIR.

‘I don’t want to disparage anyone becauseof their, their race, their ethnicity, their name - whatever theirreligion their father, father might have been,’ King said just beforedoing just that.‘I’ll just say this that when you thinkabout the optics of a Barack Obama potentially getting electedPresident of the United States — and I mean, what does this look liketo the rest of the world? What does it look like to the world of Islam?‘And I will tell you that, if he iselected president, then the, the radical Islamists, the, the al-Qaida,and the radical Islamists and their supporters, will be dancing in thestreets in greater numbers than they did on September 11….‘It does matter, his middle name doesmatter. It matters because they read a meaning into that in the rest ofthe world, it has a special meaning to them. They will be dancing inthe streets because of his middle name. They will be dancing in thestreets because of who his father was and because of his posture thatsays: Pull out of the Middle East and pull out of this conflict. So there are implications that have to dowith who he is and the position that he’s taken. If he were strong onnational defense and said ‘I’m going to go over there and we’re goingto fight and we’re going to win, we’ll come home with a victory,’that’s different. But that’s not what he said. They will be dancing inthe streets if he’s elected president. That has a chilling aspect onhow difficult it will be to ever win this Global War on Terror.’

It would be a huge mistake for McCain to rebuke this courageous man. Huge.

Brookings Institution Senior Fellow Tamara Coffman Wittes reportedfrom a conference in Qatar that Barack Obama’s candidacy is all the rage in theArab Gulf states.

A friend from the Gulf tells me her young relative was so excitedabout the Democratic candidate that he tried to donate money over the Internet,as he’d heard so many young Americans were doing. Then he found out he had to bea U.S. citizen to do so. Another young woman, visitingfrom next-door Saudi Arabia, said that all her friends in Riyadh are ‘forObama.’ The symbolism of a major American presidential candidate with the middlename of Hussein, who went to elementary school in Indonesia, certainly speaks toMuslims abroad.

That’s an interesting way to make a point lost onmost American commentators: Barack Obama’s father was Muslim and therefore, according to Islamic law, so is the candidate. In spite of the Quranic versesexplaining that there is no compulsion in religion, a Muslim child takes thereligion of his or her father.

He just checked the delegate counts from Ohio andTexas, two states Hillary won this past week. Thanks to the ‘proportional’bullshit designed by people with too much time on their hands and the ability tovote twice in Texas, this is how the delegate count came out.

TexasHillary 84(remember, she won this state-just not the mostdelegates)Obama 89Ohio Hillary 74Obama65

Which means, after all is said and done, Hillary pickedup a grand total of FOURdelegates more than Obama in the two states she’won’. That mountain gets higher by the day.
